May be the publicity pattern should be changed slightly

Hi Fnds!

I think in Loksatta publicity, there is some necessity for slight modifications. As per my perception, Loksatta always talks about the theories, principles, and rights of people. This is actually the way an ideal party's publicity idea should be.

However, in the current society, common people are more mesmerized by the Leader's charisma, their popularity. Yes, definitely an well educated person can easily get attracted towards Loksatta with its current publicity ways. But surely, the Leader's charisma and popularity will attract so many innocent people who are not patient enough to listen the party's principles and methodologies, or who can not understand those. [For example, people gets attracted to slogans like "Indiramma Rajyam", not even understanding how actually the Indiramma Rajyam was like, when in Emergency days]

So I believe slight more focus about the Jayaprakash Narayan's personal profile and his honesty, his service, his achievements, ,...etc something like this, will make the publicity very catchy to the common persons.

No doubt that Loksatta should not become a party which will be based on people, rather than policies. I am sure even JP is policy oriented. But the current day People are not that mature enough that they can get attracted towards Policies than People. Once Loksatta gets considerably good amount of votes, then people will know what Loksatta is upto and find how the real democracy will be.

Just have a look at the communists, they are also policy based honest people. But they lack political stars to grab votes. And as a result, they are fighting all the way patiently.

I just hope Loksatta should not become like that. Those who are having good intensions should become strong enough. Thats what i feel.

Please post your comments. I may be making nonsensce. Forgive me. Its just my opinion that i shared with u.

What u said is abslt'ly correct. And apart from that loksatta has to extend its publicity in rural areas. JP with a team of LSP leaders should visit 100 villages and conduct meetings.

Hmm.. I am a little skeptic about 'vyakti pooja' at the same time it is the people that matter. Policies won't come by themselves unless some brainy people behind them. So, I might coincide with the idea for a moment.

@Sripal's comment on visiting villages. It is very viable idea. LSP should concentrate on identifying key villages that may inclined to change. It is a bit impractical to think.. we can change all people.

If this idea is going to get a nod.. I will ask my father to co-operate in conducting a meeting in my village (Varni, Nizamabad dist).

Hello Vijay...good post. I do agree that LOKSATTA is still struggling to reach out to PEOPLE. As you know, everything in this world runs only with Money.

1)Loksatta is against spending more expenditure for publicity. Besides, even if it wants to spend, i doubt if it has enough funds.

No:2, As Sruji mentioned" Vyakti pooja" anee concept prajala minds lo nunchi tudicheyyaali.

In my opinion, INDIAN people have not met the worst of their fate. They still need to be punished heavily by either the terrorists or the politicians. Only then they will start listening to JP and his concepts.

Everybody including the villagers know about Loksatta. The only reason they are not listening to it is they find no direct personal benefit. So their selfishness and greed is obstructing their "good senses". So i thank the terrorists for awakening the people. I wish for more of such events to happen till these Sleeping bastards wake up from their deep slumber,

Tarun,

I think what you have said is almost right. But the fact is that only when most of our citizens opt JP, he can come to power and we can enjoy the difference brought by his honesty. So, we still have to continue to make people choose JP.
