I'm trying to put to gather all the Loksatta Assembly and Parliament candidates details in this space. This will be updated regularly as and when new information is available.

Jayaprakash Narayan - Kukatpalli Assembly
Jayaprakash Narayana, originally a physician, joined public administration after passing I.A.S. in 1980 standing all India second. Right to Information (RTI) is one of his major achievements national wide. He worked on agriculture, irrigation, technology and youth rehabilitation projects in various capacities in various districts of Andhra Pradesh. M.A in English Literature from Madras University.
Helped found the LV Prasad Eye Institute

Katari Srinivasa Rao - Sherlingam Pally Assembly
Managed to get 60 thousand votes standing second place in 2008 Assembly AP Bye elections
Age : 38 yrs
Profession: Asst. Prof. Of Computer Science (CBIT)
K. Srinivasa Rao is popularly known as ‘CBIT Srinivas’ among the Khairatabad citizens.
He is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Chaitanya Bharati Institute of Technology
(CBIT) and has remained a perennial students’ favourite among the faculty.
Educational Qualification : MCA, Persuing Phd from Nagarjuna University.

Lavu Rattaiah - Malkaj Giri Loksabha
The Chairman, Vignan Educational Institutions, Lavu Rattaiah
is a renowned visionary and academician, is known as Mastar Rattaiah to his students. He is a person who explores pleasure and satisfaction only in work. Yes, his work has set pioneering standards in the filed of education in general and residential education in particular. He Is a Post graduate and did his doctoral thesis on Child Psychology, Teaching methods, Thought Provoking Process in children, Channeling of creative resources.

Enugu Rama Rao - LB Nagar Assembly
Age - 44 years
Enugu Rama Rao is a law graduate, currently pursuing post graduation in law. He is an authorized MRF tires dealer by profession. Has been associated with Loksatta, since 2000, a sports enthusiast, a patriot who aspired to be in the defence forces had to be content with his services in NCC due to some personal reasons, a humanitarian who helps poor students and the society for noble causes.

Rohit Kumar Parasa - Musheerabad Assembly
Age - 33 yrs.
A self-made entrepreneur, Rohit is the founder chief of Spring Soft Solutions and Spring Consulting Services, 'Spring Soft Rohit, as he is popularly known, has had the distinction of molding the careers of over 2,500 youth of the Twin Cities by providing career counseling and helping them secure rewarding jobs in the IT sector.

Partha Saradhi - Madhana Palle Assembly
A doctor by profession, Partha Saradhi has a very succesful image and track record as a doctor. Good knowledge of the problems in the constituency and commitment to solve them made him join the party and contest for assembly seat leaving his profession aside.

Devineni Kishore Kumar - Vijayawada Loksabha
A young and dynamic personality, an educationist and Lions club activist, The AP Private Unaided School Managements’ Association's General Secretary. Led and participated different activities as part of Lions club, involved in various educational reforms in the Costal area and the state.

Badam Madhava Rao - Pitapuram Assembly

Badam Madhava Rao, famously known as BMR, son of the late Badam Apparao Guptha Bhagavathar, after a long stint with Infosys, has taken to social service. Owns a high schools for girls where free educaiton is provided. A patron of arts, he established the Abhuydaya Foundation. Helped Red Cross with funds and contribution.
